May 6, 2011 | in I ADORE!, New Arrivals here is the super pretty ensemble i was talking about in the prior post
the top is our classic "tent" top in sunshine dupioni silk with a warm grey/lavender silk neck bow. the skirt is a variation of our beloved charlotte skirt. in person, the silk skirt fabric looks watercolor-painted. it is semi sheer with a creamy underskirt/lining. i love!

while i was leaving the studio today, you should have seen the vintage Cinderella-worthy dress that was in the midst of a re-make. the hemline was being shortened from an unflattering mid-calf length and the excess fabric was about to become the prettiest chiffon bow hand stitched to the back.
it will be a must see!
