NYC

i am planning my september buying trip in NYC for Spring/Summer 2012.  new york is always an exciting place to be, though i find myself running around like crazy- buzzing from showroom to showroom and show to show.  after countless collections and models and exhausted feet, i want my hotel lobby and room to feel both calming and inspired.  i've stayed in so many nyc hotels over the years- some excellent and some bad, bad, bad.  one of the more trancendent places i've been is the Gramercy Park Hotel.  the interior is truly an "operatic feast of visual tension".  basically- it's way cool.

lots of soft texture in the room- it's like you're in a velvet jewelry box

a perfect place for browsing look books and a glass of vino
