morning inspiration

i usually have a routine in the morning.  the first matter of business is to walk the dog while the coffee is brewing.  the second requirement before i head back upstairs to shower, dress, etc. is to spend about 15 minutes on the computer- catching up on emails, reading a bit of news (iran frees US hikers finally) and hopefully stumbling across a nugget of style-inspiration.  it can be anything- like an image of a pile of velvet ribbon (seriously, i have so many odd ball things saved in my jess file)- or a beautiful piece of furniture or a pretty up-do.  my morning doesn't feel complete until i've satisfied it with a moment of VISUAL inspiration.  today, i chose this coat/capelet.  everything about it is perfect.

now i can start my day
