a project runway moment

ange is in ny for the day/night for a work/sister visit.  we just came back from MOOD- fabric shopping for Holiday!  per usual- we did not come home with the intended patterns or prints.  no cotton.  no sail boats and zero seer sucker.  instead- absolutely GORGEOUS flowy silk and hand dyed ribbon...  (of course we LOVED the pricey stuff).  we'll turn our fabric choices into the most feminine, lovely, drapy spring/summer tunics EVER!

this hand-dipped silk RIBBON will form the most perfect bow at your neck.  TRUST me.

for some reason i loved this print... it reminds me of a candy wrapper.  however, it didn't make the cut.

we didn't buy any Marc Jacobs left overs either (but they were pretty)...

ultimately- we gravitated toward bright beachy colors.  when i had my eye on something- ange intuitively pulled it out before i could. ... here are some of our faves...

so completely DIG this painterly print & colors! and hint of black will be sooo pretty for day or night.

this will look soooo stunning on all you beautiful, blue-eyed babes

this print is so charming... little gems!  and that coordinating ribbon?  LOVE!!!

and who doesn't bow down to pink and orange?

can't WAIT to unveil our limited edition creations!!!

when we say that Holiday lovingly HAND SELECTS EVERYTHING and actually HAND MAKES and CUTS our own patterns and then puts them together in the OLD FASHION way?  we proudly mean it.  it's time consuming, expensive-  but absolutely the ONLY way (fun way) i want to approach business.  i would be a failure (or rich) otherwise.  ;)

AND.  i made ange take the BUS.

xo,

jess
