Fall 2017 was inspired by the 20th century Indian-Hungarian artist Amrita Sher-Gil, often referred to as the Frida Kahlo of India and an icon of Indian modernism and feminism. The daughter of an aristocratic Sikh and opera singer mother, she trained as a painter in Paris in the early 1930’s and embraced a Bohemian, free-spirited lifestyle and modern vision. 

For Fall 2017, feminine romantic ruffles and tiered silhouettes are balanced with tailored corduroy and chic elongated looks for after dark.  - St. Roche
