we put in a long day freshening up the store- we need a few more hours tomorrow and should be open by 2 p.m.

AND- for those of you who are dying over the Pretty Ballerinas (i am, too!) we are trying to place an immediate re-order of what is avaialable in stock.  such a big crowd-pleaser (i knew it!)

can't wait to tear these down!

Holiday...

...is getting a mini make-over tomorrow (and maybe wednesday) so we shall be closed.  sorry! i'm working on a little art (ok- more craft) project right now that will be incorporated into the store.  here is a sneak peek...

Vintage Holiday

i just came across this old photograph of Holiday back in the day.  we had just completed a make-over... new carpet, curtained wall, etc.  sooooo cute!  since then we've done another make-over with hardwood floors and removal of the built in desk.  and very soon, we will embark on another re-do (hopefully by month's end).  every couple of years this place needs some freshening up!  

a very special...

...customer was in Holiday tonight with his gorgeous mom.  i get to see these two quite a bit and it's always a treat.  he has been coming in before he could walk.  and when he started walking (and playing soccer and lacrosse and every other sport in the world) watch out!  Holiday could be turned upside down in seconds flat.  we've had bowling matches by the cashmere, long jump contests (with costume jewelry as markers for our best jumps) and have gotten into all kinds of trouble while his patient mom browsed the racks.  tonight was no different.
