i had been sitting in the front row next to Uma Thurman at Chanel's Spring 2012 fashion show in Paris. sadly, i was not there and sadly i won't be purchasing any of the gorgeous creations that were sent down that dreamy runway. BUT, i can glean some inspiration from this sea of frothing, soft pastel palette.
i love this cream flutter neck wonder!
how cool that Florence Welch performed, too!
i really dislike blow drying my hair in the morning. (this is an adult departure because in highschool i spent a good hour with the curling iron and 3 way mirror completely obsessed with having perfect hair, make-up, etc.). today the only time my hair even looks remotely good is when i have a professional do it. and that's hardly ever. i am usually sporting some kind of side-ish ponytail with a mild "bump it" or a messy braid or two. a look i love and need to practice is the o-so-chic chignon.
a little tutorial (like this will help me). what is that little tool?
some pretty perfect ones...
this next one is a little too bridal for me- but still pretty
note to self: stick Chanel pin in a very low, side chignon. such a great look. wait- i don't have a Chanel pin. kitty? can you help?
and all of these are just fab
i LOVE when something just catches my eye! i was recently lured by the whimsical illustrations of Australian artist James Gulliver Hancock (digging that name Gulliver). i want a GIANT one of these in my house!
nyc
rome
naples
the buildings he's lived in. that's so sweet.
looks like a pretty cool guy
