jewelry trunk show!
Holiday welcomes back our favorite jewelry collection, Beasley's Baubles. The designer, formerly known as Britta Waters (I swear- that was her name) is now the married, Britta Pemberton, and has recently traded her Manhattan design studio for a more quaint Connecticut one. We've been throwing her bi-annual trunk shows for the past 5 years- and they are always crowd-pleasers. Especially for all the mother/daughter duos- (Hi Janice and girls)!
Not to get all sales-y on you (ok maybe a little) Britta's creations are perfect for, yep, you guessed it, Mother's day. Her earrings, bracelets and multi-strand necklaces are completely one-of-a-kind, and she continues to hand-make them from her home studio. If this weren't special enough, she does so WITH a brand new baby boy coo-ing by her side amidst mounds of semi-precious stones that she turns into beautiful, wearable jewelry.
Gotta love that image.
Visit Holiday this Thursday to Sunday for some good-giving-mom bling.

Met Ball & Paolo Roversi
I am so looking forward to seeing all the images from the Costume Institute Gallery Met Ball happening tonight. To me, it leaves Oscar fashion in the dust.
Some dreamy, Met-worthy gowns shot in black and white by stunning photographer, Paolo Roversi.
