Le Ballon Rouge

I love Albert Lamorisse's award winning 30 minute French short done in 1956, Le Ballon Rouge.  It's beautiful and peculiar- I'm always inspired by this big, perfect, single red balloon. (i may need to do an 'in honor of' window at the store).

Can you do a "showing" sometime at your house? Or in Holiday (might need a license for that though....)? How awesome would it be to have an "in honor of" window and then the film playing on loop on a tv behind the counter? Fun!
