roses are pink and yellow
we're going for an "english garden" theme i am told. mainly because he's english and i think he misses it. he loves messy and wild. i prefer a bit more of an edited and manicured landscape, but since i had control of the entire inside of the house, my gardening opinion is but a mere whisper. o well. we're off to a good start. here are a few pics...

PEONIES!
i'm too green to know what the rest of these are
notice the absence of mulch. apparently it's too american/suburbia. not english-y. ugh. i like mulch!
we've also sectioned off a huge patch for a very wild and crazy wild flower garden. tiny green stems are just sticking up now. we'll see what we get!
