May 16, 2012 | in I ADORE!, personal style i brake for lace anything. especially clothing in creams and soft pastels. even in the winter i like wearing lace shorts with an opaque tight. Holiday just ordered up some uber pretty ones for NOW (and later). they should arrive next week!

April 29, 2012 | in I ADORE! ok. ok. i know i'm totally late in the game to blog about this- but i have and still love these MAGICAL, sparkly, colorful tassel garlands. it wasn't until this weekend at a shop in Hudson, NY that i actually saw them in person and learned a little about the company behind it. (i'll do another blog post on HUDSON's Warren Street antique scene that is so too-cool-for-school-bring-your-manhattan-decorator-and a-hundred-thousand-dollars-in-cash-to-shop vibe another day). BUT- Confetti System, the creative force behind a growing line of celebratory garlands, piñatas and now jewelry- is ALSO too cool. in a GOOD way. i can't wait to have them in Holiday's window! (better late than never)

April 28, 2012 | in I ADORE! ...are finally available for purchase all over town. they are perhaps my most favorite flower. i have two different shades of pink in my apartment right now. a few days ago they were in a tight, little petal fist (still pretty), but now they are OPEN and their big, beautiful, fluffy heads are tumbling over the vases. mother nature must really, really LOVE us.
