nostalgia

plagues me...  especially when it comes to the United States Postal Service.  please don't go away!  i am  so so so fond of vintage hand written post cards.  i collect them.  i can't remember the last time i received one in the mail- but gosh darn it- i'm going to start sending them out with abandon.  to me they are just the sweetest gesture... here are some darling autumnal ones i would be thrilled to find in the mail box.

my high school reunion

was a few weekends ago- and man- what a surreal experience.  i haven't seen so many of my classmates since graduation (many moons ago).  i was nervous as could be.  luckily, old faces became intimate faces once again.  we had a blast.

Spring 2012- Playfully Chic

finally home from a dizzying whirlwind of nyc fashion, fashion, fashion (and fun)!   Holiday has decided that the mood for spring 2012 will be "playfully chic".  we saw soooo many charmingly beautiful collections- and as always- avoided trends for "trend sake".  when choosing the core designer merchandise for Holiday, it is imperative that we use our heart, soul and gut.  the designers that we choose to represent are hand-picked and a big exciting investment.  (more on that later).  

i got home tonight and dumped the loads of look books and line sheets- ready to size up and edit.  some will stay- some will go.  (still so much more to see and do).
