my new favorite dress...

...just came into the shop by sienna & savannah miller's awesome collection Twenty8Twelve.  the fit is perfect and i love the lace like print.  i have a highschool reunion coming up this weekend- i may do with a favorite pair of Hermes Night sandals and a red clutch....

actually reminds me of a feather.  i've admired her collection for a long time.  unfortunately, the price point is a wee bit prohibitive for Holiday- but i still gather inspiration from her fresh, magical and ultra feminine esthetic.  i am especially appreciative of her charming home and vintage details...

Le Ballon Rouge

I love Albert Lamorisse's award winning 30 minute French short done in 1956, Le Ballon Rouge.  It's beautiful and peculiar- I'm always inspired by this big, perfect, single red balloon. (i may need to do an 'in honor of' window at the store).
